Assalamualaikum and hello,
I would like to introduce to you my best friends since I came to Adelaide.
People, meet: *DRUMROLL*
Yes, my three very close friends. I spend every night, day and weekends with them. How joyful. Canyousensethesarcasminthispost. I hope so. Oh well, Nothing comes easy in life. To succeed you gotta work hard. Insyaallah, this will pay off big time in the future. Amin :)
Till then,
Welcome to uni, people :)

I am proud of all my children for doing better than I am in education. During my time, going to the university was still a rarity. So use the opportunity well.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mama that you should also write about the more general things, your experiences beyond the classroom.
Nice to tell stories about the new friends that you have so far made and how you are helping each other. You should help others, more so if in doing so you sharpen your communication skills.
Not everybody has the flair for language or are good in languages. You are lucky that you are raised in a bilingual environment. Others may not be so lucky. So you should endeavour to help them if they desire your help.
I know this because I was not raised in a bilingual environment and I had to acquire my second language in school after five years in a Malay school. It wasn't easy, but I managed, Alhamdulillah.
If you help people to be better, you'll yourself become better, for you cannot help others to be better, if you are not yourself better. It's for that reason that I enjoy writing. If forces me to be better than my audience. But we are only humans. No matter how hard we try, there'll others who are better than us. In that situation, learn from them. That's how we better ourselves.
Just a thought I would like to share with you. Love. Abah.
Thank you for the comment, dad. I will write more on the general stuff like life in adelaide, making new friends and surviving abroad etc. Writing is not easy after all. It is when you have penned down all your thoughts that you actually felt better about it because you know you have shared your thoughts with others.
ReplyDeleteI am indeed very thankful for being raised in a bilingual environment. Having to be taught a lot of general knowledge from you and mama. Thank you so much for that. And it's with that opportunity that I have, I am now trying to help others who needs my help ( be it in studies or people skills)
I miss you a lot. Love, Big A :)
Thank you dad for those beautiful words. I am indeed very thankful for being raised in a bilingual environment. you and mama have taught me to love knowledge an its beauty. Thank you for the experiences. Thank you for your support.
ReplyDeleteMama also has given me few suggestions as to what to write in my blog. Insyaallah, I will take both of your advice. I shall update my blog when I have my finals out of the way.
THANKS DADDY. I LOVE YOU :)
